Ending July 31, 2018, Maryland REALTORS® Facebook page has 7,000 page likes compared to June 30, 2018, at 6,908 page likes.
Note: Due to the paid advertising campaign for the Maryland First Time Homebuyers Savings Account, the growth of page likes may have been skewed during Februaryand March.
Moving Forward, running paid advertising on Facebook to members only would help grow the page’s following more quickly.
Facebook reach definition:
Post reach is the number of people who have seen your post. Your post counts as reaching someone when it’s shown in News Feed.
Note: You’ll notice reach went significantly-up in July; this was primarily due to an excellent meme provided by Maryland Realtor staff. If you take away the numbers from the meme post, reach was still up, coming in at 52,156.
Facebook engagement definition:
Engagement is a major factor in Facebook’s News Feed algorithm. This algorithm determines which News Feeds your posts are displayed in and, ultimately, how many users you’re able to reach.
When users engage, the actions they take, appear in their timelines and those of their friends, making their connection with your brand visible to others. That exposure contributes to awareness for your brand.
